Hi chris.wheeler
Forgot one thing, if you are using the module for Agile Multiple Seller module and used for seller collects payment mode, you can not use the Express Checkout mode of Agile paypal express checkout. This is a limitation with use it for seller collects payment.

Hi shokinro,

Thankyou for your help and your swift reply. We have changed it to the 5 page layout, and it is almost displaying correctly. https://www.diigo.com/item/image/47q2m/dht9

We have two remaining problems:

1) Some of the information is missing from the module's box.

It is displaying as this: https://www.diigo.com/item/image/47q2m/xasd (ignore the "Remove" command. That is an internal note)
Instead of this: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/47q2m/syr4

2) Although we have the "Force Checkout goes through the summary page" function set to "Yes", Checkout isn't redirecting to the summary page. It's still going directly to login.

If you have solutions for either of these problems, I will be very grateful.

If you have solutions for both of these problems, I will be too grateful for words.

PrestaShop Paypal module - Agile Paypal Express Checkout

Postby tom_3320 » Wed Oct 09, 2013 6:00 pm

Hi I have a few questions regarding recurrent payments and repeat ordering,

Is it possible to use the recurrent payment to reorder the contents of a cart every week, month etc?

If so can the customer edit this cart to make slight variations over time e.g. change the flavor of a can of dog food or add/remove an item?

Thanks for taking the time to look that these queries.

Thanks Kinro for your swift response my previous query (tom_3320 , 2013-10-09 13:00:48),

Is it straightforward enough for a customer to cancel a recurring order if they wish to do so?

Thanks again.

Thanks for your inquiry on Agile Express Checkout module.

If so can the customer edit this cart to make slight variations over time e.g. change the flavor of a can of dog food or add/remove an item?

The recurrent payment will be re-order the exactly the same thing as first time. It is possible to do weekly or monthly, based on your setting and user choose.

But once the payment is done, all recurring orders will be exactly, because the payment is the same.

Hope this is clear.

Customer has to cancel the subscription at Paypal if Paypal payment module for the payment. Or cancel at it credit company if credit card payment module is used, not at your store.

Yes, buyer could be any country.
If user choose Express Checkout, buyer's address registered at Paypal will be used as shipping/billing address.

Is allowed as shipping address country is not same in billing address country. Currently, I faced this issue using Prestashop 1.5.3 and Paypal 3.5.5
If fix it than appreciated.

Do you mean, user registered at your PrestaShop store and then checkout using Paypal payment?
In that case we can only pass one address to Paypal. by default, we pass shipping address to Paypal.
