PrestaShop Seller Messenger module

What the module does?
It enable communications between customers and sellers. A Seller Q&A tab on front store for customers to see previous questions and ask new questions. A "Seller Questions" tab at back office allow sellers and admin to reply and manage the messages.


Compatible with:
Agile PrestaShop 1.6x (Contact us for lower version of PrestaShop)

Features
PrestaShop Front store
1. A new message on product page (product footer-before long description) will displayed as following
Got a question? Click [Seller Q&A] tab below to ask seller a question.
You can change the message by PrestaShop translation function at back office

2. A new tab "Seller Q&A" at product page on PrestaShop front store
- A question/contact form for (potential) customer to post new questions
- See other questions that have been asked by other customers and answered by seller
- The new question message posted by customer will be show up on the same tab
- The new question message will be sent to seller by email to notify seller about new questions
- The Question and Answers list has pagination functions when message increased

PrestaShop Back office
A new tab "Seller Questions" is added under "Customers" tab
- Sellers and Admin can see the messages from customers
- Seller and admin can reply the customer messages and approve customer message based on settings
- Both customers message and seller reply message will be displayed on product page
- Each seller can only see/reply messages the belong to his/her products

Module configuration
- You configure whether customers are required to log in before they can ask questions
- To avoid spam, you can configure to "Use Capcha" or not.
- You configure to copy the email messages to store admin or not.
- You are able to configure to approval of customer message/question before it appears on product Q&A tab.

- You are able to configure to hide customer/seller email address from each other so that they are not able to communicate outside of the system.

When I ask the seller a question on the client side and then login to the admin to answer the question, after answering the question and clicking 'send', I am immediately logged out of the admin and this is added to the URL 'login.php?redirect=in/index.php?tab=AgileSellerMessages&token=ddf0e8fbae881b6ad6214fca516398a1'. Loging in takes me to a 404 page on the client side, so have to remove the above from the URL and login again to the admin.

The when I go to the client side, the question is posted three times, twice without the answer and once with the answer.

Yup, I got the same error. Autologout problem.

My verfication text/picture also not appear for guest. Spam cannot be filtered.

Please do not use the same browser for both client access with logged in user and back office access.
the error could be caused before different cookie.

Yup, I got the same error. Autologout problem.

Could you please give more detailed steps on how to reproduce the error?
It will be great it if can be reproduced so that I can fix this issue as soon as possible.

Have you configure the module to use Capcha?

After tried a few time, I was able to reproduced the error on my demo too.
I am working on it to fix the problem. I will update this thread when it is fixed and give you a upgrade.

I have fixed the issue when you reply a message at back office, it redirected to log in and cause page error.

I will send you the updated modules shortly. Please feedback the result.

Tried it and confirm autologout problem have been solved.

However my verification text still not appear.



Guest can post a question without to input any verification.

can you share me your site URL so that I can have a look at?
The Capcha image does not show up, there is something wrong with the setup, I guess.

To use Capcha, we need Session to be enabled, please make sure session is enabled at your site.

Hi

The logout problem is now resolved

But i still have problems with multiple messages.

With login required: yes, message approval required: yes and hide email: yes
Once answered by admin, the message is posted three times, once with an answer and twice without.

With login required: yes, message approval required: No and hide email: yes
The message is only posted once but the answer is posted separate from the question..
