Agile Price Comparison module for Multiple Seller

What is it?
This module will display a list of similar chosen products selling in the store by showing the price, seller/vendor name, view detail and buy button on the product details page. This is an accessory module for Agile Multiple Seller module. It will help the customer choose between products from different sellers with different prices, and provide a richer customer shopping experience.

Compatible with PrestaShop 1.5x and higher.

*** This module requires installation of the Agile Multiple Seller module.

Features
- You can choose to use the UPC, EAN13, or Reference product field to identify whether the products are same or not.
- You are able to choose to use the default hook location, or you can the location inside the product page.
- You can set the maximum number of products the customer can show in the comparison list.
- If the Agile Seller Rating module is installed, then Seller ratings with also be displayed beside/under the seller name, as well as a link to seller rating details views.
- If the Agile Multiple Shop module is installed, the seller name will also be linked to seller shop home page.

Note:
At this time, this version does not support product attribute combinations, however it will in the next release.

1. Does the module list the products that exactly products or similar products?
2. What criteria is the module used to find out the same or similar products?

Thanks for your inquiry on Agile Multiple Seller/Vendor and its accessory modules.

At this moment, it will only search and list the exact same product listed in store.

2. What criteria is the module used to find out the same or similar products?

You have to define a search field in module configuration, this search key will be used for identify a product is the same or not.
For example, most store will use UPC code, EAN13 or some kind reference number, you can choose either of those 3 fields of the product.

Very good question.
The products will be sorted by price and we will pick lowest price first.
The number of products to show is also configurable at module configuration screen.

There should be not a limit, it is configurable at module configuration screen.
It depends on how many sellers sell the same products. If there are 2 sellers sell the same product, it displays 2, it if it 10 then it will display 10. But the max number of sellers to display is configurable.

I understand that this module works in combination with the Multiple Sellers Module, but I have been told in a previous inquiry that you can't assign more than one seller to a product. So how does the Price Comparison work? How does it know that more than one seller is selling the same product?
