Agile PrestaShop Paypal Parallel Payment Module - refunds

Is it possible to have the money paid by a buyer to be automatically credited back to them if their order is canceled? I don't see any setting for this and when I tried to both "Cancel" and "Refund" an order, nothing happened with the money in PayPal. Is this something that has to be done manually for all canceled orders?

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim
When you change an order status to "Cancelled", the commission related to that order will be cancelled.
By it will not delete original commission record, instead it will create a minus one to adjust balance of seller account.

Please make sure you change the order status to "Cancelled".

But please be noted, it will not cancel any payment through your payment gateway. But the seller account balance will be adjusted automatically.
Yes you will need to cancel the your payment at your Paypal account manually.

best regards

Thanks for the reply. Do you think there will be a time in future where the payment will automatically get refunded?

Thanks,
Jim

To avoid unnecessary error or mistake, mis-operation caused , I think it is better to do the refund manually, because it is handling money.
but we will think about this if there are high demand. I have worked for many financial system, most of them handles refund manually.
