I would like to know if we can use the paid Stripe Payment Gateway module as our main store payment gateway and incorporate with memberships.

Yes, it is possible if the Stripe payment module will create an order for each recurring payment.
That is, if each time a recurring payment is received, an new order (of the same membership product of first time order) is created by the module, then it is OK. Please confirm with the developer of the Stripe payment module.
