Terms and conditions for every seller

Postby haene_3510 » Thu Jan 23, 2014 9:11 pm

It would be great if it is possible that every seller has his own terms and conditions.

Actually seller is able to crate his/her own CMS pages via back office.
Use CMS create Terms & Conditions page and then and add a link to this page at seller description.

I tried to do this but I am not that familiar with Prestashop and therefore it did not work respectively I do not know what exactly I have to do. Any further explanation is appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for your using Agile Multiple seller/vendor module, a best solution to create prestashop based online market place.

I tried to do this but I am not that familiar with Prestashop and therefore it did not work respectively I do not know what exactly I have to do. Any further explanation is appreciated. Thank you!

1. Create a CMS page at back office for your Terms & Conditions

Back Office - Preferences - CMS

You can log in as admin and create a CMS page for seller and assign to a seller.
You can also log in as seller to back office access the same menu as indicated above.

2. Preview the terms and condition page you created, make sure it is what you wanted.
And copy the URL of your CMS page

3. Add this URL as hyper link at seller business description.

hope this helps

This is not helpful in these cases:

1/ The site has 100 sellers or more then the admins will have lot of work to do.

I think sellers should be able to create their own Terms and conditions in their back office then this will popup when buyers add the items to cart or at check out.

@ngochuy2000_4502
different customer will have different requirements, if this becomes higher demand, we will consider to implement a similar one.
for your scenario, you may consider to do some customization as following
- allow seller access back office so seller can create his/her own CMS page for Term & Coditions
- use one custom field of seller business info, ask seller to enter "Term & Conditions" CMS page ID.
- use this page ID, try to display at where ever you want( product page, shipping cart page,....)

hope this helps.
