New Module - Custom Orders/Contract services
Posted: Thu Jun 04, 2015 9:34 pmI think a module that allows sellers to make transactions for a custom product order or contract labor services would be a great addition to Agile, and perhaps to Prestashop as well.
I see this as being as being a special product that is created by the seller, with a description of the work and terms of a contract, but does not appear on any product lists. These products would only be accessible to be viewed by the customer it is being tailored to, either by linking it to a customer account or by providing a product code and passcode to access it, which would be sent to the customer by email.
Additional functionality that could be added to it would be to include:
-Keeping the contract active for a duration after it has been accepted, with payment expected upon acceptable delivery
-a Deposit value that could be paid upon accepting the contract
-Allowing the seller to change the terms of the contract while it is active, after getting approval from the customer
