It will reuquire some coding to enable this validation.
But even user choose a emmbership pack, he/she still is able to choose another one before payment.

I am interested to see how much flexibility there is in adding membership content. Could this be done via the shop or would it be best to treat the shop as just the access point which then linked to membership pages produced in in my normal web design software?

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly.
The membership is a product of PrestaShop product that created under special category "Memberships",
"Memberships" category is defined in module configuration screen

So having purchased a membership how would they access their paid for content? Log in to their account and go to their \"My Membership\" but what happens then?

In addition to the physical products, I plan to sell online photography, audio and video instructional material, so I need some kind of \"normal\" web pages that can contain all this info, which would be more than the simple details about a product for sale. It would be more like say a magazine article each month. This would contain the article text, instructional videos (these will be inside a multi-video player, so only one player \"area\" actually needed) and then downloads to PDF supporting docs.

Is there any kind of PrestaShop module that would allow me to have this kind of thing as a \"product\"?

Maybe I am asking for something too complicated to be set up within PrestaShop only? Otherwise I think I have no option but to just the use my PrestaShop shop to sell memberships, but then upon purchase, direct then to a completely separate instructional web site with its own membership system. I just wondered if this could be set up actually within PS via your module?

You can set up video or PDF digital files as a downloadable products.
For online stream, you can install video player module (I don't have one, but I am sure you can find one) to play them.

The membership module is used to manage membership and access control.
You can set the access control at category level so that only paid members can access the products.

I have another module Agile Prepaid Credit/tokens module, is in different business model.
Customer to buy credits/tokens first, then use the credit/tokens to purchase products by just one click.

Further to my last post, do you think the Blog Module by community would give me what I need as far as delivering the membership monthly content? And then I could make that hold the content of the private members area? Could your Module then provide the controlled membership access to that Bog section? I would not call it a Blog of course; it would my \"academy\" area.

What do you think please? Or do you have any other suggestions for setting up the content pages that would be controlled by your Membership Module?

I am not familiar with "Blog Module", so I can not make any comment on that. It is better that you find out by yourself.

But you can use CMS function of PrestaShop to manage the pages and use my module to manage access control. I think that might be best way you can do?
