shokinro wrote:Thanks for your inquiry on Agile Multiple Seller/vendor module - a best market place solution based on your PrestaShop.

Please check orders nº #24 and #25, that was the result of choping cart nr 91.

As you can confirm there is a diference between the shiping costs of the orders (5€ each, total 10€, wich is totaly correct), and the choping cart shiping costs that shows 15€ to the customer, wich is wrong and is what customer see when he checkout (i think the calculation error is because it is considering both products weight 3kg + 2.5kg (weight range 7.5€ - Total 15€) instead each one weight (3kg and 2.5kg, both in weight range 5€, total 10€).

Is the products are chosen to use the same carrier?
If it is so, then the calculation is correct. We assume the products will be shipped together with the same carrier, so the shipping fee should be calculated together.

If the products are chosen for different carrier, then we will investigate.
Do you mean it is our demo site? or your own web site?
if it is our demo site, please tell me which one you are using, because we have multiple demo site.
if it is your own site, please give us the following access information so that we can have a look at it.

Ok, let me explain better my finding.
Im refering to the tests im am doing at your demosite "Agile PrestaShop Multiple Seller module + All accessory modules (PrestaShop 1.4.9)" (link is http://agileservex.com/prestashop-multi ... er-opc.php) where i created two sellers (Portugalissimo and SouvenirAlgarve) and one customer (rfasantos).
After defined tree weight ranges to default carrier and set the shiping prices, i tested rfasantos buying two products, one for each seller (Congas electris (3kg) and tamancas Arraiolos (2.5kg)).
The objective was to test if the cart spliting in two shiping delivers was correct, but i figure this error.
The shiping fees of the cart 15€ (cart nr 91) wasnt correct and wasnt the same as the sum of the shiping fees of the 2 orders resulted (this was correct 5€ each) (orders nrs 24 and 25)
Please checkitout
PS: On back office pls check Shoping Cart nr 91 (Customers -> Shopping Carts) and both Orders nr 24 and 25 and you can confirm that Shiping fees are diferent.
PS2: I repeated the test (this time with 3 products - 09/20/2012 01:40:11) and both Shoping carts (93 and 94) resulting and orders (26 and 27) are correct. The error is on the checkout where the customer see shiping costs that are miscalculated (20+20) and the correct fees are 20+5.

Are looking at back office Customers/Shopping cart tab?
Or are you looking at the front store shopping cart?

I think there should be no problem if you look at front store.
It there is a problem at front office, please tell me you test customer account access info, I will have a look at it.

Yes, what im telling is precisely that, there is a difference between shipping costs of the front office shopping cart and back office Customers/Shopping cart, and the problem is at front office.

Just do this test, try to buy the products i told you before and then check your backoffice shopping carts.

we have created a customer account, an employee account and we've linked them both in order to create the seller account. These 2 accounts have the same password.
The problem is: When we login on the front end as a seller, we can see our products only, and not all the others. For example we, as sellers, we cannot buy something that we want from another sellers items.
Is this normal? Can it be fixed?

There is no access limit at front store products.
Any products is public to all visitors, anyone can buy anything at store just like you can do that at eBay, Amazon, and other market places.

So this is not a bug, it is normal.

What I'm trying to say that we are not at the back end as a seller. We are logged in with the seller account but we have not clicked to go to our seller page. We are on the front end and cannot browse the whole store.

Another thing:
On our shop we had changed the pdf engine to TCPDF instead of FPDF. The reason for that is that FPDF did not support greek fonts correctly.
I see that you are using FDPF in your module. What do I have to change in your module for it to use TCPDF?
Thanks

If the TCPDF provide same API (I mean property and methods of object), then it is very easy to change.
What you need to change the first line of the file (showing as below) to the one you are using.

Code: Select all
include_once(_PS_FPDF_PATH_.'fpdf.php');

But if TCPDF does not provide same API, then there might be big customization. Please try it by yourself.

@partners_2043
I just investigated the shipping fee issue you said. It seems working fine.
when I visit the site, input the the two products in my shopping cart, it displayed correctly $5 for each and total $10. See image below

I also checked your shipping fees, configuration, you set $7.5 for Europe zone. I guess the store recognize you as Europe zone customer somehow. Maybe you have used European address before and the store remembered your address. That's why it calculate as $15. It is not from total weight. It is from zone.
Please try to set different number like like $5.5 instead of $7.5, you will find out that I am correct.

Anyway, if the customer is not logged in yet, the store will use default country or the shipping address the customer used last time.

So I am sure there is no problem with shipping calculation in my module. Please try to clear your browser cache to see if the it changes.
