How can I change the length of "description" field

Hi sors11,

Just talked to the dev team, and they brought up an interesting point.

Though the description field can hold 6,000 characters, the company name length has a maximum of 256 characters. You're not talking about the company name field instead of description, are you? Just have to make sure.

Also, could you send an email to [email protected] with a link to your site - or post it here if you'd rather - so they can take a look at it.

Exactly...I talk about "Description" field at Shop Info tab in Agile MultiSeller Module....not about Name Company or another...Description...

thanks for using our module, sorry for late response.
I just checked the code, there seems a mistake in the length validation of some fields.
I will ask our developer to update the code to fix the issue and give you an update through this topic.

Just want to give you an update about the description field.

It is HTML field. when you input the text there are many HTML tag are inserted by the HTML editor.
so even we defined the length as 6000, you are not really able to add 6000 character text in this field, because the length also includes the HTML tags. We can try to make it more closer (loner than 256), but we are not able to guarantee it is exactly the same length.
