Checkout with Multi Vendor - Agile or Prestashop

Postby ez24hours_3750 » Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:54 pm

Hi

I went through the Agile demo on multi vendor. The checkout for me is way too complicated, so I would have to hire someone to remove a lot of screens. For example I do not want a shopping cart, I do not want buyers personal info. I will be selling one of a kind $2 items. For a $2 item, I want the customer to enter as little info as possible and the customer will buy one item, thus no shopping cart. There will be no "Shipping" address, it will be "Mail To" address. I will need a message box like ebay's message to buyer. Only simple paypal will be used. No adaptive or parallel paypal. So you can see I want to strip a lot out.

My questions - is the checkout controlled by Agile or Prestashop? Since I will have to find someone to make the changes - are the checkout screens written in PHP? Once I figure out who controls the checkout, I will look for help. Right now I do not know who to ask for.

thank you
Roger

Hi Rogers
Thanks for your inquiry.
I think I understand what you want to do now.

You can use our Agile Paypal Express Checkout module, with this module, user does not need to login or register at your store.
and user checkout in just a few clicks and send buyer you Paypal site to approve payment. So buyer does not have to go through the shopping cart and checkout process, it is true fast checkout.

There is also another merit of this Agile Paypal Express Checkout, there a featute - Paypal micro payment account, it will help you save Paypal commission. But this feature may different from country to country.

For multiple seller environment, you can use it at "seller collect payment" mode.

I also forgot to mention about " I will need a message box like ebay's message to buyer."
We have "make an offer" module that buyer can send email to seller for price offer.

We also have another module - Agile Seller Messenger, it facilitates communication between seller and buyer. You can find details here
