How payments are handled in the Agile Multiple Seller/vendor module.

Will customers have to make multiple payments at the time at purchase if buy products from multiple sellers?

There are three payment collection modes in the multiple seller module:

1.  Store collects payment mode:
In this mode, the customer will only be required to make one payment, even if they buy products from multiple sellers in one shopping cart.  However, the store owner will have to manually pay the seller's for product sales after deducting any commissions.

2.  Seller collects payment mode:
In this mode, one shopping cart can only contain products from a single seller.  If the customer tries to add products from a different seller, the module will prompt the customer to checkout from the current seller's cart first.  In this mode, only the Agile Paypal module is available for payment method.  In this mode, the seller will have to manually pay commissions to the store owner.

3.  Both store and seller collect payment mode:
In this mode, both store and seller collect funds directly from sales.  This mode currently requires both the Agile PayPal Parallel module/Agile Stripe Marketplace module and the Agile Seller Commissions module.
 
For automatic commission calculation and payment between seller and store owner, an indepedent accessory module (Agile Seller Commission) will be required.
